A Day at the Park

The weather this week has FINALLY been warm enough for us to get outside. We have been cooped up in the house due to the cold weather so we are excited about being able to get outside a little bit. Yesterday was my mom's birthday, so we decided to spend the morning at the park with her. We all had so much fun! Max literally ran, slid and swung for 2 hours straight. He had a blast! He has become a daredevil on the slide and likes going down backwards and on his tummy. My dad was able to join us at the end and Max showed off his sliding skills for him as soon as he got there. He also insisted my mom stand by the slide and say "Weeeeeee!!" everytime he slid down. For some reason, it made it that much more fun! So funny! I am amazed every time we go to the park at how much more he can do than the time before. He can be a lot more independent and I am not as nervous about him getting hurt. It's a win-win. After yesterday, I think we are both really looking forward to spring and summer. We are ready for the cold weather to be gone! Enjoy the pictures below from our fun day!

Apology to Mr. Potato Head

Dear Mr. Potato Head,
I apologize that my son has stolen your glasses. I know I should not allow him to steal, but he is so cute with them squeezed on his little face and has so much fun while wearing them , I hope you understand I cannot stop him from doing it. Hopefully, you are not too inconvenienced without your glasses and can appreciate the adorableness of the picture below.
Sincerely,
Leslie

Crazy about "Toy Story"!

Wearing Woody PJ's, playing with his Woody toy and, yes, watching Toy Story at the same time. What can I say? The kid knows how to carry out a theme! : )

Baby Update - 24 Weeks

I cannot believe I am already 24.5 weeks pregnant! Time is flying by, especially this past month. We had another appointment last week and since little Greenlee was stubborn last time and would not show us her face, we got a chance to do another ultrasound. This time she was much more cooperative! She is definitley a girl - which is good since we have already painted the nursery - and she was moving all over the place. She seems to love her hands and kept trying to put them in her mouth - too cute! Our sonogram tech could feel her kicking and punching throughout the whole process! She was even able get one really good 4-D view of her face and I could not get over the fact that she has the exact same nose as Max. We could see her stick her tongue out and swallow and could see all four chambers of her tiny little heart. Technology is so amazing. She weighs about 1lb 3oz right now and that is right on track with her due date. Everything looked great. Jeff and I thank God every day for our little girl and pray that she continues to be a healthy baby. Below are some pics from the sonogram. I described them under each pic to help you with what you are seeing. Enjoy!

Her profile with her little boxer hands up by her head

Another profile view with her mouth open - already a talker!

The 4D View - this is looking straight at her face. She has her finger in her eye and you can see her adorable lips and her "Max" nose. So cute!
