Max's Perfect Morning!!

Too Sweet

Max loves spending time with his daddy. I get asked about 100 times a day, "Where's my daddy?", usually followed by a hopeful, "On his way home??". Every time Belle starts barking during the day (which is a LOT), he always yells, "Daddy's home!!". I hate having to tell him that, no Daddy is not home yet, our dog is just super crazy. At the end of the day, when Belle's barking does actually mean that Jeff has pulled in the driveway, Max is always very excited. It's so cute. I love that they enjoy each other's company. I couldn't resist snapping some pictures of them reading together the other night. Too sweet.

Peanut Butter, Jelly Time!

Last night, Max really wanted to help me make his peanut butter and jelly sandwich, so we pulled up a chair for him and went to work! After we made the sandwich, I let him sample some jelly out of the jar, since it was pretty much empty. He was so cute eating the jelly, I went to grab my camera. He then decided he needed to sample the peanut butter straight from the jar, too! I didn't realize he could actually open the jar on his own, but he quickly showed me that he could! He dug in and started eating. He comes by his love of peanut butter honestly - his mom and dad are big fans! Messy as it was, I decided to just let him have some fun and be a kid. I think he enjoyed himself, don't you??

Update

Hi! I just wanted to take a minute to give you all a quick update on what's been going on.

First, our nephew Jackman came home today! We are so excited for Greg and Lisa!! This has been a long five and a half months for them and we are so happy they can finally all be home together!! Jackman is doing great and gets more adorable every time I see him (and he was pretty darn cute to begin with!). We love him so much!

Second, Max has been sick a lot this month, thus the reason for my lack of blogging. He has had an ear infection, a virus and pneumonia. Poor little guy! He is finally feeling good and things are getting back to normal. We have spent a LOT of time playing at home, building houses for Buzz and Woody (see pic below), playing with all of our choo-choo's and watching movies. I would say we have both had cabin fever and have been happy to finally get out of the house this week!

Finally, I am already 28 weeks pregnant! Everything looked great at my appointment last week. Greenlee has a strong heartbeat and spends her day kicking and jabbing me (and probably laughing about it)! She will be here in about ten and a half weeks - not that I'm counting! :) Max's teacher told me he was talking about Baby Greenlee at school today - so sweet!
