Road Trip!

This weekend, we took Max on his first trip to the ATL. I think we only packed about half the house for this 2-night getaway! : )

Max was truly a joy to travel with. He slept most of the way there and all of the way back, which made the ride very enjoyable for Jeff and me! We stayed on-the-go for most of the weekend and, for the most part, Max stayed in a fun and happy mood. We went out to eat, went shopping, and even took him on his first visit to the Georgia Aquarium. He was able to spend some time with his Grams, Pops, Aunt Ash, Uncle Ricky, and his GiGi. We also got to try out his new "big boy" stroller for the trip, which he really seemed to like. It allows him to face forward and see everything that is going on around him. We are excited about going on future trips with him! I have some Atlanta highlights below - enjoy!

These were on the way over after Max had woken up. He had fun playing with his car seat toys!

Taking in the view from our room with Daddy

Eating (and sleeping!) at the Hard Rock Cafe'

Strolling through ATL on our way to Centennial Park

Viewing the beautiful Christmas lights in Centennial park

Such a snuggle bug! He really likes his stroller!

Shopping on Saturday - his first trip to Crate and Barrel (one of his Mom's favorite stores). Isn't his hat the cutest??

Snoozing at the mall. This was short-lived - he was quickly wide awake again!

Family shot at the Georgia Aquarium

Taking in the otter exhibit - he liked watching them swim around!

Looking at fish with Mommy in the Ocean Voyager exhibit

Checking out the jellyfish with Dad

Posing with Deepo, the Aquarium's mascot

Max was glad to get back to the room to stretch and play! I thought this picture was so cute. Do you think they love each other, or what??

Finally a new post! I've been checking for days. I'm glad you guys had such a great trip. Max seems to have had a great time. He looks sooooo adorable in that outfit. He's so lucky that his aunt Sunena has such great taste! I do love the hat in the mall pics. I can't wait to see him and you all again soon!
