We had my 12 week appointment on Friday and everything is going great! We were so glad to hear that strong little heartbeat! The only bummer is that we still have to wait EIGHT more weeks until we find out if it is a girl or a boy. How will I make it? The suspense is killing me!
We have been staying busy, busy, busy. We go to the library every Monday morning for storytime with my good friend, Amy, and her son, Tyler. Max and Tyler are the same age and are also in the same Sunday School class. It is fun to watch them interact together.
Max goes to school on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at our church and loves it! His teacher is sooo sweet and Max also loves getting to see Laurie (GiGi) when we walk in - she is Assistant Director.
He still goes to the bookstore once a week with my mom and he looks forward to playing with the train table and picking out a book to buy. He even spent the night with Grams and Pop-Pop for the first time and they all had the best time. Jeff and I went to dinner and a movie and and I slept in on Saturday morning - nice!
Max loves, loves, loves playing outside! Of course, he hasn't gotten to do much of that lately with all the rain we are getting. The picture above is from yesterday when we had a rare, dry day. He has a blast helping Jeff "wake weafs" and pick up the crazy amount of hickory nuts that have fallen everywhere. So cute!
I guess that's it for now. I realized I still have not posted pictures from his 2-year checkup so I will try to do that this week. Have a great week!
