The other night I was trying to fix dinner amidst a fussy baby girl and a VERY energetic toddler boy. None of my suggestions interested him. Did he want to color? No. How about driving his cars down the ramp? Nope. Watch a movie? Of course not. His game of choice seemed to be running around the house like the Tazmanian Devil and antogonizing our little white dog. Fun times. So, when he very purposefully marched into the kitchen, pointed and declared, "I climb this wall.", I said, "Go for it."
I mean, at least I could see him and maybe it would keep him occupied for at least 30 seconds. That's a long time for an almost 3-year old.
It's not like he could actually climb the wall, right? It's a wall and, last time I looked, he did not shoot webs from his hands.
And then he did it. Climbed the wall, I mean, not shoot webs from his hands. He climbed right up that wall. Several times. And I took pictures. He declared he was "Super Strong!"
Guess he showed me.

I remember when Max first started showing signs of "flexing his muscles". lol I guess it paid off. Better Max climbing the wall than you:) He's a doll:)
Ah yes, those famous words, "Go for it!" I believe that is what they told Colombus. Now both he and Max are immortalized. Cool story... cool kid! tell Max that Uncle Jerry said hello... and Greenlee, too.
How strong?? Too strong!!
great job, leslie. Now maybe you can teach him to say "I clean those gutters".
Great pics Les - the kids are so sweet - even climbing up the wall - LOL!
