I can't believe it is already August and my sweet Max is almost 3! It is such a joy to be home with him. He keeps me on my toes and usually keeps me laughing, too.
We have had a fun and busy summer. Our days have been filled with learning and playing. We usually try to do one activity a day, and, in this heat, most of those activities have had to be indoors. Visiting McWane Center, going to the library, eating and playing at Chik-fil-a, hitting the bookstore with Grams, playing with friends, and doing arts and crafts projects are some of Max's favorite things to do. Of course, sometimes our activities are much more boring, like getting a haircut or running to Publix, but he enjoys those things, too. He loves running errands with Jeff or me, and helping us do things like fix his lunch and make his bed. He also enjoys just being at home, playing with his toys and watching movies.
He has really grown up a lot this summer. He has real conversations with us and undertstands and remembers so much. He is pretty much potty trained now and is doing so great with it. He went to a 3 day morning preshcool camp at our church and loved it. It was kind of a mini-VBS. We took him to his first real movie, "Toy Story 3", and he sat and watched the entire thing. He is obsessed with all things Mickey, and is super excited about our upcoming trip to visit the Mouse himself, and has delcared that he wants to dance with Daisy Duck. He is a little bit in love with Daisy and Minnie. :)
Below are some pictures I have snapped over the last couple of months. Most are action shots, because it is so hard to get a good, smiling shot of him these days. I love this little boy so much!
