At the beginning of March, Max participated in his first School Spring Music program. One word : ADORABLE. Totally and completely adorable. He was on stage in our very large sanctuary with all of the other 2 year olds from his school. He did SO great. I had no idea what to expect. They had practiced on stage at school, but that was without all of the parents sitting in the audience. I wasn't sure if he would love being up there, or start crying when he saw us. Luckily, he loved it! My mom, my dad, Jeff's mom, Jeff and I were all there to see him (Ash and Ricky hated to miss it, but they both had to work). When he walked out on stage, he waved to each of us individually. My heart completely melted when he waved and said, "Hi, Mommy!". He sang his heart out and did all the hand motions for each of the 3 songs; "The Wheels on the Bus", "Itsy Bitsy Spider", and "Deep and Wide".
Once they were done, the 3, 4, and 5 year olds performed their cute songs and we then watched a slideshow that made us smile and cry at how much our kids have grown this year. Max really has changed so much. After the show was over, we went to his classroom to see his artwork. He was a wild man. He was way too excited for us all to be there. We ended the night with a fun dinner at his favorite place, "Chik-Fway" (Chik-fil-A) with the Jernigan's. It was a great night that I will never forget. I was so proud of him. The next time I dropped him off at school, he told me he wanted to sing in "Big Church" again! My little showman!!

**Thanks to Laurie for the pictures from the actual program. Mine did not turn out well - all the kids had major red-eye. :)

Cure for the red-eye thing les. don't let the kids go out drinking the night before the show. don't you know Broadway??? i can believe how well he did. you know his pop was a star of stage and stage in high school where he played in Bye Bye Birdie. His uncle brian broke a leg in Oklahoma in the "small church". Where is my Greenlee? Love you all.
