Meeting Santa & Grandparents' Christmas Party

Last Saturday we had a very busy and very fun day! In the morning, while Jeff ran the Huntsville Rocket City Marathon, I took Max to have breakfast with Santa at my Mom and Dad's real estate office. Keller Williams hosted this great event and provided all the food. It was a stress-free way to meet Santa with no long lines or screaming kids. : ) It took Max a little while to get comfortable enough to actually go and see Santa, but he finally let me walk him up there to him. I couldn't believe he actually sat with him for so long! His buddies Wyatt and Sam soon joined him for an adorable group picture.

Later that night, we went to the annual Grandparents Christmas party. Laurie, Cheri and my mom started this last year as a fun night for all of us to get together to celebrate the gift of Jesus and the gift He has given us with our children. Jeff made it back from Huntsville in time to join us for all the fun. This year another good family friend, JoEllen, joined in and we were so glad to have her, Greg, Sara Katherine, Will and little Olivia Grace as part of the tradition. The grandparents cooked all the food while all us moms, dads, aunts, uncles, and kiddos got to visit, play and chat. It was a great night!
